For my first blog post, I thought I'd share my favorite makeup products for a super simple, everyday look. đ
â„The first thing I use is a tinted brow mascara. Filling in your brows and combing them into place helps to create a super polished look. My current obsession is the Maybelline Brow Precise Fiber Volumizer! It's $6.19 at Target. If I have a little extra time, I'll refine the shape with the E.L.F. Brow Pencil($1.99).
â„Next I use mascara. I don't want to fuss with a volumizing, clumpy mascara when I don't have much time, so I use a lengthening, separating mascara. A really good option from the drugstore is the L'oreal Lash Paradise mascara, which is only $4.62 from Walmart! It's a great dupe for the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara.
â„Then I use a super glowy shade of blush. This helps to brighten your complexion and make you look more awake. If you use a more champagne/golden shade you can also apply it on your cheekbones, and it can work as a highlight as well! There are so many beautiful shades of shimmery blush, but one great one is Bubbly from IBY Beauty ($5). It's actually a highlighter, but it's the perfect rosy shade for me.
â„ Next I pop a little bit of super bright highlight in my inner corners. This takes no time at all, but it makes you look so much more wide-awake. I love the Super Shock Shadow in the shade Girly from Colourpop ($5). It's super easy to apply too, you can just use your fingertip!
â„My final step is a few swipes of tinted lip gloss. I use a sheer pink shade and overline my lips just a little bit to give them an extra plump effect. I like the Colourpop Ultra Metallic Lip in Wolfie ($6) when I want a little extra glam.âš This shade could complement lots of skin tones.
Here's the final look!
